Hi, i'm 19. Becoming pregnant at this stage in my life would be devastating to me, and unfair on a child. i'm studying, working, and trying to find myself. my boyfriend and i are usually very, very safe when being intimate. my last period began on november 15th. about a week later, we had unprotected sex, although he did not finish inside me. I took emergency contraception (the morning after pill) about 6 hours afterwards. these past few months i have been very, very stressed and also sick. last week, the day before my period was due, i got very ill with a fever and flu (fever of 40 degrees celsius ). 7 days later, just gotten completely over the flu, my period still hasn't come. i have been experiencing some constipation, also.

    i'm very, very worried...
i don't really think there's any chance that i'm pregnant.. but still. i'm unable to sleep, to think, because i'm so stressed. i'm too scared to take a pregnancy test.

to the people who comment things like "if you're not ready for the responsibility of a child, don't have sex" or "pulling out isn't a method" look, i know. and i agree with you, but that's not the problem at hand, so i'd really really appreciate any advice.

Have you taken a pregnancy test? If not, go to the store and get one. If you took the Plan B as directed, your most likely not pregnant, and the issues you're having probably are a combination of the after effects of that pill, seasonal illness, and stress.

But you should go to the drugstore and pick up a test, to know for sure and to ease your mind.

I agree with KMonte, go and get a test just to set your mind at ease. If you aren't pregnant, then there's no need to worry. If you are, then there are options. Don't ever think that there's no way to get out. You'll be all right no matter what happens.
Trying to get a hold of myself is really tough! But I'll keep trying.
