My last period was due around December 15th.
Me and my boyfriend had sex for the first time (for both of us) on December 18th, he used protection, didn't ejaculate, and we only went at it for a short amount of time before he pulled out. I bled a little bit- which at first I thought was the start of my period because it was very light and the blood was more of a brownish color (like the color of spotting before the actual period)-but it stopped about an hour or two later, so I believe that was just the hymen breaking.
December 19th, a day later, my grandmother died of a heart attack, and since then, my whole week has been busy and hectic in general with the funeral, traveling and a bunch of depressed relatives.
To top it off, last week were all my finals for my classes.
Until today, December 27th, I still haven't started my period. I'm getting worried because it's more than a week late.
When I showered this morning, I had some brown discharge and when I used the bathroom there was also mucus-like brown discharge. what is this?
Should I be worried about pregnancy since my period hasn't started yet, or am I just really stressed out? Thanks!
Brown is old blood. Not all blood gets pushed out at once so some will be left over and can be pushed out on a later random date. Nothing to be worried about. When I showered this morning, I had some brown discharge and when I used the bathroom there was also mucus-like brown discharge. what is this?
Pregnancy occurs when sperm meets egg. If that does not occur pregnancy cannot happen. There was no semen involved in your case so that right there makes it physically impossible to be pregnant, however some people believe that there is sperm in precum but the chances of that causing pregnancy are very slim. I would not be worried.Should I be worried about pregnancy since my period hasn't started yet, or am I just really stressed out? Thanks!
You are stressed out and that alone can cause your cycle to go haywire by creating early or late periods. Give it some time and try to relax so you body can also relax.
There are those who believe that dictionaries should not merely reflect the times but also protect English from the mindless assaults of the trendy.
