Hello everyone,
I have kind of an odd situation between myself and my girlfriend. I've done a little research on the subject, but have come up with nothing thus far. So I figure, why not just ask some true pro's that may have the answer.
P.S. I feel a little out of place. Ya' know, being a male and all.
Anyway, here it goes. My girlfriend who is 20 seems to be having some....issues. Her menstrual cycle seems to be.....backwards. For the past two, or three months she has 2 weeks of bleeding, followed by one week of not bleeding, then three weeks back at it again. She is also not experiencing any cramps, or anything usual at all, if that makes sense. We've been together over a year and have not come across anything such as this before. She was, on the other hand getting a regular depo shot for just shy of a year before she decided to stop it. I believe that may play a part in it, but then again, I'm no doctor. Is this something that should just be waited out? Or is this something that she should really go to her lady doctor about? (sorry, no offence intended. I just can't spell to save my life.) Any other info would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks!
Depends on how long she's been off of depo. If she just went off 2-3 months ago, then yes I'd attribute the changes to her body adjusting to the lack of artificial hormones. However, if this continues she's going to want to see her doctor so she can take measures to avoid anemia.
