Thread: Am I just paranoid?

We had unprotected sex a few weeks ago, but I wasn't ovulating, we practiced withdrawal and I had the Adiana procedure done 2 month prior. That thing isn't considered completely effective until 3 months, but given all the other circumstances, I though I was fine. Also, I am in my late 30s so have a natural decline in fertility anyway. So my period is 10 days late. Has happend before, but I'm also experiencing a clear discharge, like when you are sexually excited and a post nasal drip which is pretty common in pregnancy. I took 2 home pregnancy tests and they were both negative. I made an appointment to see the doctor but thats not for another few days. Right now I am just driving myself crazy. Could I really be pregnant!

I have had a similar situation with my fiance. Though I am still only 19.
I wasn't sure if I was paranoid myself, and I have never been pregnant before so I didn't know what it was like/what to expect. When I looked on the internet I kept seeing symptoms that I had. But then again I wasn't sure if I was just being paranoid or not. But I didn't get my period until a MONTH later which is not normal. (But I heard it could have been a miscarriage and I just didn't know. My friend had this experiece as well.)

I guess since I have not been pregant myself, I can't really give an opinion haha. But it is good that you have taken tests and made an appointment already. As far as I know, the home pregnancy tests are pretty accurate, so unless you just took it too early, I think maybe you are just being paranoid. I guess the only thing to do is wait and see what the doctor says!
