Thread: cause of these cramps??

Hello,
I am new to this board, but I am hoping someone has had a similar experience and can give me advice. I am a proud surrogate mother to twin boys, which makes me 4 months postpartum and haven't had a period yet. This is not unusual for me though as with my other pregnancies I generally take about 6 months before my period comes. However, for the past 2 weeks I've been having major period-like cramps and no period (and I'm definately not pregnant, had my tubes tied) is there anything else that could be causing this. I keep thinking for sure I'm going to see blood next time I go potty, but nothing.........that is how bad the cramps are.

well i think you shoud take into account that u had twins you had twice the work while pregnant... after i had my tubal it took forever to become normal.. now everything is off... i get headaches before for like 3 days.. my periods are often very light or so heavy i feel like i am going to die... go get your hormones checked they may be off and get a thyroid test... u may need a supplement for a few months.. or continue ur birth control...good luck
