I will be turning 24 in September. I have been with my boyfriend for 2 years. I was on the pill for about 6 months, then we decided to try to have a baby. I have been off the pill for a year next month. I havent had a period since january. In March I took a pregnancy test (negative) and saw my doctor. She said that I am just having irregular periods which is common and gave me a thermometer to monitor my fertility. Its August now and still no period. I have gained a little weight and seem to be very grumpy these days. Also my urine is kinda darker than normal, I keep hoping that I am pregnant but I dont wanna get my hopes up, I havent took a test since march. but I havent had a period either. I just dont know if My period is just jacked up or what..

Hi Sweetsteph.

I suggest that you go and see another doctor. No period since January and all the doctor does is give you a thermometer to moniter your fertility?!!That sounds absolutely ridiculous! It's not usual to go for months without a period if your not pregnant, especially at your age. Please, go and see another doctor asap.
