heavy bleeding during perord and long time on my perord

Hi everyone i am Katie,
I am 21 years old and i have my son in June.
I am having my first peroid after haveing him this month and i am bleeding quit heavly and for a long time 2 weeks so far.
Today my husband and I were at his parents house and i was changing my pad and i suddengly felt a blood clot and there is was on the floor.
I am having to change my pad quite offten also.
The clot was kinda big.bigger that a quater..Is this normal?

Before having my son i had heavy peiords but not like this.

PLEASE HELP ME>>>
