    HI!

I was on birth control pills for almost three years. I stopped three months ago. The first two months I had a cycle of 30 days, and now I am late 4 days. The week before my period was due I thought it has come early but it was too little, almost like a discharge.
I am sexually active but using condoms (lets remember condoms are not 100% safe).
Could I be pregnant? Am I late because I stopped using birth control pills? Is that "discharge" normal?

    Thanks for your help!

I had been on the pill for 2 years and then came off it for 6 months. Those six months my periods were irregular - sometimes 24 days sometimes 34 days and everything inbetween, and the flow was different each month. My body had been used to the consistant hormones that the pill provides, then I took them away and basically told my body "have at it!!".

So while pregnancy is always a possibility, these irregularities could just be your body trying to deal with the lack of hormones. Try taking a home pregnancy test if that will put your mind at rest.
