Default 2-3 months late...

I'm 15, a virgin, and about 2 months late on my period. I was this late around this time last year (may to june time) and i finally got my period. I so masturbate, using a jacuzzi jet, but i dont understand if that would effect my period by this time. Last period was about middle of april... can u get pregnant from a jaccuzi jet? Its a bath tub, so not big enough for two people, i was alone...

Hello ladies! First of all, there is nothing wrong with using jacuzzi jets to masterbate. In fact, a lot of other women even use those detachable shower heads to masterbate. It's not going to harm you since it is just water. However, do not use those jets if you have any soap in the water. Allowing soap to get into the vagina can cause yeast infections and bacterial vaginosis (normal bacterial infection which are cureable).

Because you are so young, you body will be going through many changes as time goes by. Your hormones will be changing and this will directly affect your period. As your hormones naturally change, your period may be heavy or light, late or frequent, and you may see changes in the color and texture of the blood. It's all normal so don't be scared.

It is extremely unlikely that you would get pregnant using the tub. A man would have to masterbate in the tub and then you would have to get into that very same water immediately after. Sperm does not survive for very long outside of the man's bodily fluids.

If you are really worried about it and don't want to tell your parents, you can go to Planned Parenthood where they will give you a pregnancy test. Or, you can buy one from the grocery store in the medicine isle. I really don't think you would be though.

I just got my period this morning...
i was sooo worried. I didnt know what was up... it may have been a hormone imbalance, and i dont know if this has anything to do with anything, but i recently started takin antidepressants, so that may have helped?

I am glad to hear you started your period. Antidepressants can either help or make it worse. It really depends on your individual situation. If your period is irregular because of stress or depression, then it may help. However, antidepressants are also known to cause a decrease in sex drive and therfor an irregular period. So if, over time, you notice a decrease in sex drive just keep that in mind.

Unhappy aaah..

I havent gotten my period since June 25th or so, I'm 16 and a virgin so I can rule out pregnancy..i read other causes and it says that travel can be a problem, which may be it becuase i have been out of town all summer long, and have gained a bit of weight which may be another cause..when i got home i started working out more than usual..should i be worried that ive missed it for this long?
