Homeopathic Remedies for Heavy Bleeding?
|
|
Hi Everyone,
I have been trying to do some research online about some "homeopathic" remedies for heavy bleeding and long periods. The past two months, unfortunately, I have been suffering from really heavy bleeding and abnormally long periods (for me). I have recently left a very very very stressful job (not so much the job, moreso the person I am reporting to), and started a brand new job that really is stressful and busy (but great at the same time!). My feeling is that stress has a lot to do with this, but I have been to the gyno since the problem started. I had my annual, which was fine and had blood work done which came back just fine. I also had an internal vaginal ultrasound, but haven't heard anything back yet (after 2 calls to my doctor and this was almost 3 weeks ago!!). Now, of course, I am sure this stress isn't helping and I have done nothing but think about what the results might be!
OK, so onto my question. I was wondering what, if any, homeopathic/all natural remedies anyone has tried. I have been reading a lot online and it seems as if Iron (which I am sure I am low on at this point), Vitamin A and C are suggested as is taking Cinnamon. I am now taking a relatively low dose of iron, Vitamin A, C and Cinnamon. The Vitamin A, C and Cinnamon I generally take anyway, I have just increased the dosage a smidge according to information I have read. While normally I would get Iron from my multi-vitamin, I am not taking my multi-vitamin and went with a slightly higher dose of iron (and I mean SLIGHTLY as iron can actually poison your system with too much of it!!).
I have been reading something called Shepherd's Purse (or lady's purse) works quite well. Anyone have anything they could share with me in terms of experiences with homeopathics (as they pertain to menstrual problems)?
