Thread: Unusual Month

My period is like clockwork. Every 24 days and it starts first this in the morning, usually around 6am. It lasts 6 days, every month. I am 24 years old and my boyfriend and I are sexually active. I would say we are casually trying to concieve, we do not use any portection. I was due to start my period on the 14th of this month. The entire week to week and a half before it was due I had some mild cramping which never happens and my back really hurt. For several days before my period was due there was some super super light light pink spotting. It was really only noticeable when I wiped. My period ended up coming a day late on the 15 and it only lasted 4 days which never happens and it was a little lighter than usual. I did take a pregnancy test on the 14 and it was negative. We are both healthy, I have had a pap done in the last 3 months. I have just been so regular and have been sexually active for several months. What could cause my period to be a day late and 2 days shorter than normal? And what was up with the light spotting before it came? Has anyone had this before? Thanks.

well as i got older my period did change. have you taken another hpt yet? the pink spotting can occur from your period coming or it could of happened because of a pregnancy. i know with my first baby i did have some light spotting in the first trimester. i don't think being a day late on your period is really not much to worry about. if you have any concerns then by all means ask your doctor. well good luck in your baby making!!!!!
