No Periods
Hi, wonder if anyone can relate to this. I am a 24 year old healthy female who stopped taking the contraceptive pill Loestrogen 18 month ago. Since doing so my periods have completely stopped. I get no spotting or anything. I had periods before taking the pill and they were perfectly normal and regular. I have had tests done and all my hormone levels are normal. I dont know if it is still possible for me to get pregnant after not having periods for such a long time. After going to the doctors several times about this they dont seem to want to help me and cant really do much more about it until i want to start having a family. My worries are that due to not having periods for this long i am going to have problems when i do want a family and dont want to leave it too long. Any thoughts or advise will be greatly appreciated.

hi sara24,
well stress, weight loss or gain could screw with your periods. i know that it is still possible to concieve if you don't have a period. i have a girlfriend that did just that. she was nursing her child so she didn't have a period during that time but still concieved. well i know the doctors can give you something to try to start your period. if you don't get the answers your seeking from this doctor then by all means go get a second opinion. sometimes you have to find that one special doctor that knows what is wrong with you. good luck.....
