Thread: weird period...help

hi, well i just turned 14 and i got my first period when i was 12. since then my period has lasted no shorter than 7 days. my last period lasted 17 days and after it ended, a week later i started getting a brown discharge. is that normal? does it mean i'm going to start my period again? i realllyyy don't want to have it again for another week or 2 after i just ended a 17 day long one.

also my longest period was a month long but it was just light the whole time. i told my mom but she said it's probably genetics because she had hers for 2 months when she was my age and she had huge clots. i'm scared >.< any advice?
