Thread: Back pain and long cycle?? Help!

I am 23 yrs old. I have been on birth control regularly for over a year. Recently I started having severe lower back pain, and about 5 days later I got my period a week before I was supposed to - I haven't missed any pills. It has been 12 days and I still have my period.

It is very heavy and this is the longest I've ever had a cycle since I started menstrating at 15! What is going on?!

That happend to me. I went to my doctor and we found a cyst in my ovary. The only advise that I can give you is take some stronger pain killers and go see your doctor ASAP.
