I've had my period now for 2 weeks. Which normally mine lasts 4 days. I didnt have one for 3 months. I went to the dr and she told me to start mine I needed to lose 10 pounds and so i did and i started and now it wont go away. Which is horrible because it's putting a damper on my sex life. My husband and I trying to have children and its not helping any because i dont have any signs of stopping at all. Anyone know whats wrong?

    Default long period

I really don't know...but my sister had this similar problem. She had to get on the pill for a few months to regulate her periods, then when she got off of them her periods were normal again. This may also increase your chances of getting pregnate. Good luck

Have you been checked to see if you have any cysts or fibroids? Sometimes those can be the cause of irregular periods and possibly preventing you from getting pregnant. Two of my sisters had irregular periods due to have cysts on their ovaries. Have your doctor look into that.

whostoknow321 - you really need to see a doctor. None of us can say.. this is what's wrong so do this to make it stop.. Only a doctor can tell you what's wrong and give you medication and/or give you advise on what to do. I know you don't want to see a doctor, I hate it too, but you really need to go and get it checked out.
