I was told that I have Poly systic ovaries syndrome. I can go 6months without a period. My dr gave me provera to make my period come on. I was told to take the 10 pills one a day at 10mg each, and after I took the last one 2weeks later my period would come on.

The weird thing is that...I've only taken 4 pills and I have a brown dishcarge. That lasted for about 3days and now I just started spotting. i stopped taking the pills because I'm assuming that this is a period and that's what the pills are for.

Is this normal for provera. Did I do the right thing?
