I know you last posted over a week ago.. Just wondering.. Did you ever go? What did the doctor say? I sure hope everything's running smoothly now. And I read that the pain stops bothering you when you're active- When I get cramps, I just go out for a walk, drive to the store, or whatever.. Anything that will keep me moving, cause I noticed that when I lay curled up in bed [ do to feel better when I have a cold] it doesn't work for cramps.. It just makes them worse, I guess it's cause my body is too relaxed. I know when you're on that time you don't feel like doing anything, but trust me, it helps.
As for your mom- I was also in a situation where I didn't want to tell mom something regarding my period, for fear that she would freak and start assuming the wrong things. One day I went and talked to her about it. I'm not gonna lie, it was awkward as , but she was actually very understanding about it and I found out that she also had the same probles when she was younger, so it wasn't anything I did, it's just something she passed on to me. I don't know if this helped. I'm hoping you already have seen a doctor, though..
