Default Period for 3 weeks???

I started taking birth control 2 months ago, and for the second month I got a different brand, so I am hoping that is the only thing causing this. Anyway, only 2 weeks after I stopped my last period I started again. t went normal for about 5 days, then I got the "after-effects" - for a week. It was brown and kind of light, but annoying, because I still had to use tampons. And it hasn't stopped, because today I noticed it's still light but it turned RED. Is this normal?

Default

It could be that when you started the new BC it frazzled your system a bit and you're body is adjusting. Then while it was adjusting (passing the light brown dried blood) your regular period came at the new scheduled time. That's only my guess...but it does'nt sound like you're having a serious problem(not that it's not a pain in the tush).Good luck... and maybe just bring it up the next time you go for your refill or exam.
