    Default Spotting between periods

    Two days ago I got stich like pains in my left side.Then yesterday i still had it on and off acompanyied by light spotting which last all day.Today I'm back to normal is this ovulation symptoms or something else.I'm roughly in the middle of my menstrual cycle?

    spotting between periods is known as metrorrhagia and there are may factors that can cause this from anywhere between not taking your birth-control at the same time everyday, tolow thyroid levels, and even vaginal dryness... the best thing to do is to go to your doctor. They will ask you all sorts of questions, and even if it seems odd (i.e. do you use inanimate objects for sexual gratification?) you need to be frank.... sometimes the cause is what you least expect, so be ready.
