Default large volumes of clear fluid during period

I'm experiencing large amounts of clear fluid coming from my vagina, almost without fail about 3 days into my period. It soaks tampons, and fills a mooncup within an hour. There are no traces of blood, and it's almost like water, but a bit more viscous, yet not sticky, and it doesn't have an odour. Has anyone experienced this or heard about it? Should I go to my doctor with this?

hi, this has been happening to me as well... i felt wetness and was afraid maybe i urinated a bit. i tend to have more of an urge to urinate during my period. then i checked it out and my tampon was wet too. i was doing some reading on sexual health, and thought mabye it was g spot ejaculate? (i've never had a g-spot orgasm) but then fluid matched the description of the ejaculate. i found it strange that there was no blood either. it has happened to me 2 times now, and im due to bleed any time, so i will see if it happens again. i am 26, went of the pill last fall, regular periods, never been pregnant. im trying to find out but dont see anything, no answers. im just glad its not only me!
the only thing about my theory is, i think that g spot ejaculate comes from the urethra, at least thats what i read... so that wouldnt make sese iwht the soaked tampons...

It is definately not from a g spot orgasm thats silly! I have been experiencing this to.
Also I have read that theres no such thing as female ejaculation apart from when the cervix and muscles contract from the orgasm and force fluid out. Otherwise I have read its just urine and that can happen to women who have weak bladders or other problems that does not come from the cervix though so its no explanation.

I am also experiencing this and am lead to believe its normal I have not been to a doctor though. I'm not sure about you but along with a fairly decent amount of clear fluid I am still having a normal period or a normal amount of bleeding.

I figure since it only happens during my period it can't be anything else such as infections or anything else like that. I figure its a hormonal thing and that the liquid comes from the glands that produce normal discharge or lubrication for sex. Sinces it quite watery and theres no other symptoms and I have read a LOT of posts about the problem it must be normal.

If it was something to fear we'd know about since there are so many women also experiencing this. Hope I helped!
