Hi, everybody. My cycle has gotten really bizarre, and I wanted to see if anyone has had any similar experiences. I just moved back to the States after a year living in France. My cycle had finally become regular and predictable during the last three months of my stay. I went off the pill when I went abroad (to see if it was responsible for sudden weight gain) and didn't miss any periods. Since being back, I haven't gotten my period once! That's two and a half months overdue. I took two pregnancy tests. They were negative. I had sex right when I got back, on the last day of my period, with a condom. I just don't get what's going on with my system. Could change in environment really make this big of an upset or is it something more?

Did you take pregnancy tests from the store or at the doctors office? Some times the ones from the store are not always accurate. You could be pregnant.
But also, the stress of the trip back home and getting settled in can cause your periods to become irregular. It seems that could be highly likely since they were irregular before. Evaluate your stress levels opposed to how you felt the last three months in France. |
