I've been on a generic birth control pill for 2 years now. I'm as responsible as it comes for taking my birth control pill. I take it at the same time of every day. It has worked well for me so far and have had no problems until just recently. Every period I get is almost exactly the same as the last, it almost starts at the same time of day as the last. I am sexually active with a guy I've been with for almost 2 years. Even though I'm on birth control pills we still use a condom just to be safe.

My period was supposed to start on the 28th of April, but didn't start until the 30th. When it started it was a really light brown color. I'm still on my period now and it hasn't gotten any darker or heavier. At first we were worried that I might be pregnant when my period hadn't started, even though we use two methods of birth control. FYI : Between this period and the last I had my pap smear and an STD test. Both came back fine.


I've never had my period act this way. Is this a sign of anything? Please, post me anything that you think could be wrong or just to help me put my mind at ease.
