Hi, i'm in my mid twenties and my period has overstayed by almost 9 days. By the 4th day, i noticed the blood had a foul smell. the red blood seized to flow and resulted in brown fluid with a really bad smell. I've been to the doctors and was given a prescription for antibiotics to take for 7days. Its the 6th day today and the discharge is still persistent with slightly foul odor. I'm confused now. should i go back to the doctor or just give it a few days after the antibiotic course which ends tomorrow. someone please help cos i'm really worried.
