Thread: bleeding a week after cycle

Hi, Iam a 36 year old I have never had this happen to me before but I had my cycle last week and which it ended last Sunday. I wake up this morning bleeding if I had started again. I had sex the night before I was told that I might have rip some tissue. If anyone can possible help me I would appricate it very much it kind of scary.Thank you

Hi. I too am 36, and have had my period since beginning of April. It did stop for a week, but started up again. For the past couple of months, I did notice that my period would start after sex. This hasn't happened to me before either. I have heard that 8 in 100 woman begin early menopause before 40. Who knows, maybe we should have it checked out. If you do, have them test for FSH (follicle stimulating hormone) Keep us updated.
