Question Tampons

I have always used tampons and never have used liners/pads. Recently, I have had some issues in using tampons. When I insert the tampon it hurts and my stomach will cramp afterwards. The tampons hurts even when I try to insert it and lasts about 20 minutes after being inserted. I am wondering if I am using the wrong size tampon or if something else is wrong?

Any help will be greatly appreciated!

Ack! That sucks and that happened to me once when my tampon kinda twisted so that it was horizontal - pushing against my side walls it hurrrt! Another reason why I stopped using those blasted o.b. tampons. What kind of tampon are you using - you prolly didn't change the type of tampons from what you used to use or else you would've guessed maybe that was it? Once I started using the kind with applicators it was all fine 'n dandy.

Thumbs up tampons

Use the size tampon to the flow of your period, legular if your flow is light super for a light medium flow ect.It took me a while to get used to tampons but i got used to them eventually.I have always used Tampax.Just relax and take your time inserting it and if it feels uncomfortable just remove and try again.I don't want to put you off but i once had one part of the applicator inside me so make sure it's flushed away in two parts, also check that the string is loose. All will be fine soon so just take your time and start with the regular size first.
