Default Does working out (lightly) affect my period

I just started working out at curves a week and a half ago. I have only been 5 times and for only a half an hour. The workouts are not hard at all they are not vigorous or anything. I have not lost any weight yet. I don't know if that would make my period late or not. My husband and I pretty much never use protection so I do know there is a chance I could be pregnant.
Something similar happened back in May. My period has always been regular, I'm talking like down to the hour. But then in may it came 6 days late. I had a pretty bad head cold at the time so I figured that was why. My period came on time in June but now it's a week late! I'm afraid to test and get my hopes up for nothing.

So, can it be the exercise even though it's not hard and i havn't lost any weight? And, if it is because of my work out how long can it delay my period, when should I expect to see it again? Sorry this is so long I'm just really confused and anxious. Thanks

All kind s of things can alter your cycle. It's probably just the change in routine that has delayed it. I work out hard for two hours a day and some days I work out two times. My cycle is almost always on time to the day. You'd have to be really over doing it to throw it off to a point that it wasn't normal. A shift of a few days here and there is completely normal.
