Ive always been regular, 28 days exactly for the past 11 years, period lasting around 3-4 days.

The last 4 months, ive been a little earlier, nothing to cause concern, but my period has lasted at least 7 days, its a complete drag and theyre much more painful, yet the flow is exactly the same. Im not on any BC, havent been for a year or so.

Now, the last 2 months, ive noticed that im spotting on about day 12 - 14, this last month its been more noticeable and ive a dull ache higher than the usual period pain area, possibly at the site of my ovaries..... and not to be too gross, but the 'smell' is different to period blood odour...okay, so that was gross, but i hope the women understand what i mean there...

Is it possible that this has something to do with ovarian cysts? Anyone experiencing something similar?
