Hi, I just googled 'Periods every week' and came along this site, thought I would sign up and explain my situation and hopefully get some help.

I have always had periods once a month, except for the first time I started I had two in one month (at age 13) I fell pregnant in Feb 2007 and gave birth to a baby in Nov 2007. Obviously I bled for about 2 months after the birth then had a period... but recently - like since last month I've been getting periods every WEEK. This pisses me off SO much because I hate bleeding, I'm sure lots of girls would agree with me here, I've been keeping a record of my period days and last time I came on was 7 Aug and came off 12 Aug, now today, I've come on again!! Now my question is WHY????!! Could it be stress related cos I am stressed at this point in my life. If it is stress related, how can I de-stress?

I have a similar problem. My period seems to go for like 3 weeks. First there is a week of really light on and off bleeding, then I have another 3 days of light bleeding, have a REALLY heavy flow for 3 days and then for like a week later I still find myself wiping blood for another week although once again it is light on and off. I have like 1 week out of the month w/o it and it is really getting on my nerves. My husband will only have anal sex with me during periods and I don't really like it, so 3 weeks is ridiculous. I don't have medical insurance and can't afford to go to a doctor so I suffer, but I wish I knew what was going on. I read it could be SO many bad things and it scares me.
