Default severe PMS possible PMDD

I have severe PMS and sometimes wonder if I have PMDD. I still do not know much about it, but it is awful. My PMS lasts ten days or more and I get VERY moody, upset, depressed, and almost want to cry. Sometimes I have violent thoughts, but of course I have NEVER hurt anyone. I am also more passive and anti-social. The other day I left from a meeting
and someone said hi. Normally I would shake their hand and do some small talk but I felt bad and had to leave. I told them I was tired because I did not want them to think I was being that way on purpose. That was a week ago. I am still waiting to start my period, that's when I actually get some relief and start to feel "normal" again. Let me note I do have anxiety and depression but it's magnified at this time. I'm scared to see a doctor because I have a phobia and don't see doctors much. Is there anything a woman can take naturally or that at least helps? I hate feeling this way. Also I have mean thoughts and I don't know why, it's like I'm possessed. Who has PMDD here? I have many of the symptoms.

I, too, think that I may have PMDD, and I know how awful it can be. I get uncontrollable crying, anger, irritability, loss of control, suicidal thoughts, etc. I'm so sorry you have to go through with what you do, and yes, you probably do have PMDD. I know you don't want to hear this, but you HAVE to see a doctor if you want to try and get rid of your symptoms. They want to help you, and will be very glad to hear that you came to them to get help. Even if you try taking an herbal remedy (such as Evening Primrose Oil), you still have to notify your doctor because there will be side effects to anything you take. After talking to your doctor, he can put you on Yaz or Yasmin birth control, or antidepressants such as Zoloft, or Wellbutrin.

But you HAVE to see a doctor, because this is seriously affecting your life! Please make the right decision, and good luck.
