Default Getting off of Lexapro and Klonopin

Hi.

I just found out I was pregnant. I stopped taking both of these medications when I found out on Wednesday. I am scared.

I have been on anti-dperessants since I was 30 (now 34). I fear that I will get depressed again and have anxiety.

Has anyone recently stopped taking anti-depressants? What happened when you did? Will I be okay?

Hi Surprise Surprise

Sorry this got over looked.

Congratulations on your pregnancy, so it's been a couple weeks, how have you found being off the anti-drepressants? I guess you are the best one now to answer this as 2 weeks should have given you an indication.

I assume your Doctor has made this suggestion and pregancy should make you feel excited and all fuzzy and maybe you will therefore get through this alone just with the thoughts of your baby on it's way.

Let us know.

i remember being on wellbutrin and lexapro.

I stopped cold turkey bcuz my mother scared me that somethign might happen to my *future* kids if I keep taking them.

So i stopped cold turkey.

Now with the kid part, I don't know bcuz I'm still a virgin in my 20's and I'm waiting till marriage *imagine how my boyfriend feels; he's a non virgin!*

But when I stopped taking my anti-depressents...it was . I was violent and had bad bad mood swings. I was usually depressed and suicidial.

it can be really dangerous, thats why they don't recommend you stop taking them once you start.

But if a doctor suggested you do that, then they know best

Good luck sweetie and cangrats!!!
