Default Stressed out

I am a sophomore college student, and like most college students I am under an immense amount of stress. I have also been having other health issues this semester, and as a result my grades have not been up to my standards. I found out today that I failed my biology lab for this semester. I am a biology major so this is really not good. On top of the stress from studying yesterday I arrived home yesterday afternoon to find that my pet frog, who i put a lot of time and money into, had died. I am lacking sleep and I just feel like crying myself to sleep every night. Next week is my finals week and i just hope that my situation doesn't get much worse.

On top of all the stress from school my home situation is not great right now. I am a commuter student so I live with my parents. They are not very understanding of my situation, they try at times but do not succeed. They make me feel like everything i do is a burden on them, and they make me feel like I cannot do anything right.

All of this stress makes me feel physically exhausted as well. Any relaxation tips, or suggestions to make my home life somewhat more bearable during this difficult time would be welcome. But mostly I just needed to write some of this stuff down, thank you for taking the time to read this.

Hang in there hon. Do you have health insurance? You might want to talk to your doctor and ponder seeing a therapist. I know it helps me! ;-)

We have our daughter living with us and its tough. She is not perfect and there we are to "remind" her but thats one thing parents do. I think that its impossible not to make mistakes and when you do? Talk to the parents. They want to help. They also want to tell you their experiences so that you can avoid some of the problems they had. I know how annoying that might seem but... Its done out of love and concern. Not because they want to make you miserable. Oh sure we DO make our kids miserable at times. ;-)

Find some friends like on this forum. Even if you can't get into therapy etc this at times is a good sub!

IF THEN NEXT! Err GOTO 10000
And have a good
GOSUB!
