There is maybe something in your sub-conscious. You may have even watched a show when you were little and the Clown was mean, like a CSI style program and you remember sub-consciously...
Or, in real life, whilst your family don't remember, one scared you when you were little.
As for anxiety, "breathe" deep breathes, keep breathing and affirmations, it's only a clown it can't hurt me, and say it over and over again even in your mind whilst you breathe.
The only way to control things is with your mind, change the way you think at that moment immediately... and breathe deep and long, over and over.

Okay so ive posted in other area's but i would like to see if anyone can help me i am afraid of clowns i have no idea why its been like this since i can remember back when i was very young. If i see one in person i just pass out no controll but if its on tv it gives me a panic attack that takes a bout a full 30 minutes to recover from i also have dreams and if i dream of them getting me i have panic attacks that sometimes leads to hyperventalation.
