That's scary Sally. Have you ever gardened? Getting out and working with the earth can be very healing. Working the soil with your fingers, planting, weeding - it's all very calming. Find a sport or physical activity (running is good) where you can exert yourself enough to get a natural high going. Find some healthy outlets for your feelings, get a punching bag it you have to!

Wild, I'm not exactly a nature girl so gardening is kinda a no. The first spider I see would give me a heart attack. I do go to the gym but then I see girls that are thinner then me prettier or have bigger chest and the cycle starts all over and I come home lock myself away pill it and cut. So exercise normally doesn't help either.

Sweetie you need to get some more productive interests in life! Something that you can take pride in. Do you have a job? Drinking, sleeping and playing video games is an existance. You are young and have all the world and life before you! Get out into it, start discovering what is out there. Visit a museum a week, bake cookies and give them to the neighbors, go to the zoo, the park, visit historical sites, Get Out and About in the world.

The first thing I think you should do is go volunteer at the local homeless shelter, a food bank, a battered womens shelter, a soup kitchen, a senior center - some place where can serve and help someone in far worse situation that you. It will give you some perspective and an opportunity to really feel that you can do some good and make a difference. You may be amazed at how much you can do!

I do work I am a nursing asst. I like my job enough I guess. I ended up having spinal surgery due to it back in august. Which has lead to another complex bc I have an ugly scar on the front of my neck now.
Meh getting out is ok I get very angry when I go out in public so thats a reason I don;t do it alot. I get angry bc one: people in genreal annoy me, and 2 bc if I see someone thinner or prettier or has a bigger chest I lose it.
And I really don't wanna volunteer I get my share of helping others at work.

If you have such an aversion to scars why do you cut yourself? Surely that leaves scars?

    Default Help

I have these weird thoughts too. I used to never have them. Maybe I actually need mental help, because I have no idea why it started happening to me. I think of the DUMBEST stuff and it just plays over and over in my head, and I want it to stop so bad, but it just continues. The harder I try to stop the thoughts the more they attack me. It's horrible!!! Someone help me. Or should I see a psychiotrist?

Hey Shorti, thanks for joining this site..

Something has triggered it, what is playing over and over in your head?

What are those thoughts, or what do you see that upsets you?
