Default Worried...

Hey all I hope I'm doing this in the right forum but I wanted to see if there is anyone who can help me with this. When I was younger(13 to 16) I went through a really bad depression spell like I don't even remember those years and when I come out of it my hair was in huge knots and they had to be cut out,I had also gained alot of weight. well ever since then sometimes if I get down I'll have these little "head things".I can feel them coming and my head just feels like cold and almost like a brain freeze and I'll think crazy stuff but I can't ever quite remember what I'm thinking and sometimes I'll have several in a row and I'll feel like I can't handle it if I have another then they go away.I've only told a friend about them and she said I looked pale and funny while having them...any thoughts???I'm 20 now and I rarely ever have them but they still worry me.

Welcome to the Forum.

So nothing comes up in "lumps" and your hair no longer gets knotted, just a cold feeling like ice underneath in a certain spot only, or spots and then they go away, but before so, you start thinking weird stuff.

Is that basically what you are saying?

Love, I know anything like that can be scary as.. And, you feel that you can't confide with anyone, thanks for sharing here.

It could be something simple like a trigger point, when things start to get a tad stressful for you, it triggers something chemically in your brain.

But, it could also be a small tumor, (not saying that it is), but I wouldn't risk checking it out with a scan, just to make sure it's only mental not physical, as the problem goes.

When our body tells us something, we really need to listen i guess is what I am saying.

You don't have to explain the "crazy stuff" to a Doctor initially, just state the cold feeling like ice and that you get sidetracked for a bit, and that you feel that you should have a scan to make sure nothing is wrong.

It could stem from when you were younger suffering depression and not be anything too bad hun.

possibly partial seizures? I would go to the doctor. This does not sound good.
