i am really glad im getting more of a positive feedback. thank you all so much.

ps. i also have pmdd. and i heard that it can help with that too.
I've taken two different kinds of anti-depressants, pretty much for the whole anxiety/shutting up my mind reasons. They take a little while to kick in, but the results for me were unbelievable. I was riding in the car one day and I suddenly realized that it was quiet inside my head! Never happened before. The thing to remember, though, is that going on pills is a process, and you will be going through a lot of internal changes. Remember to talk to your doctor about everything that you're going through, and if you don't like the changes your particular medication has made, request to switch to a different one. Finding the right pill can be kind of hit and miss sometimes. Best of luck!

I like this response, it's non biast, and it's real...Like giving up on smoking if it is not working look for something else. Find what works....

What works for some doesn't work for all..

I've been on prozac for two weeks now. And so far its been ok. I only have noticed that I am tired mainly. but that's about it. My mind is some what calmer. I can sometimes look at things without over reacting to them. I kinda like being on them to be honest. I am able to control my mind. And snap myself out of anxious thoughts. Even though its only been two weeks I have faith that they will work in full the next couple of weeks.

Thanks to all for the feedback I greatly appreciate it.
