I'm young. I should be having the time of my life. All I know of is disappointment and negative surroundings. I have so much to say, but I can't even begin to think of where to start. I know this is vague.

    Welcome to the Forum MissLeigh.

    I think negativity breeds, negativity.

But, there are positives, if you truly look deep enough. Sometimes, even within the negatives..

Some of the negatives we can change ourselves, some we can't...

Maybe start with what bugs you the most?

What could you change if you thought hard about it?

And, (1) positive thing that you love about yourself at the moment in your life

    Welcome to the forum

Is there someone in your life that makes you feel better or at least somewhat happier than you were when you're by yourself or with other people?
Love isn't about finding the perfect person, but learning to see an imperfect person perfectly <3

You can't change how other people act but you can change how you respond. You can decide to find things to be happy about, even if they are small things.

sometimes just venting in a safe environment helps. especially when people can help you to see and focus on the good things.

While a therapist would be my reccommendation, this is definitely a close second. Most of the people on here seem to care about each other, so feel free to open up about your problems. Depression sounds like a likely culprit. It is a real disease and people with it deserve to be treated with kindness and the best medical and non-medical (therapy) treatments available. There is hope. Please don't forget that.

And that post is why we love our members, as they genuinely love to help

However, Miss Leigh wrote that in 2009 and sadly never returned.

The date of the threads posted is at the top left hand side.

As the OP never returned.. this thread is closed.
