I stopped smoking weed about a year after I got out of high school. I had smoked myself retarded and quitting was the best thing I could have done. I miss it sometimes, but for the most part it's been easy to pass up. I can be around people smoking, and even have it offered to me, without it being a temptation.

I went nine years without touching it, but I did smoke with my brother when he was celebrating his son fixing to be born. It's been another year since then.

Maybe it's stress or being depressed about my relationship with my husband, but I definitely wouldn't turn it down right now. Lol. Idk, maybe I would. I've always said, I'm sure I'll smoke again, just not today. I've got kids and goals I still want to reach. I don't want anything stupid to get in the way. I don't think there's anything wrong with it or the people who want to smoke. I just don't see it in the cards for me to do both, be a pothead, and lead my life in the right direction.

Mostly just venting here. I'm not going to go looking for it. Just sitting here missing it. Usually, I can think about it, laugh, and move on to other thoughts, but tonight I'm REALLY missing the feeling.

So you want to be jonked and feel high and not worry about a cloud in the sky

Pretty normal feeling, you are just "remembering" something that made you feel good and you are in the moment, wanting that feeling again.

Was going to make a joke there pertaining to other ways to feel "cloudy" but ya know....behaving ...

Ooohhhh.... I get like that at times. I did an insane amount of drugs when I was younger. Sometimes, I just want a big ole hit, lol, especially when I have a stupid crazy day. But, meh, too much hassle, plus, my body just doesn't respond to things like it did back in the day.

I don't even drink alcohol really anymore. Besides I'm a total lightweight and can't handle anything anymore.

It's funny because I have a few friends that knew me during my pothead days and a few that met me just after I quit. The ones that were just meeting me brought up how I wasn't even finishing my sentences.

"This one time, in Colorado....yeah..." And they'd be like, "? Yeah, what?" lol. I like being able to finish a thought. I was just missing the good ole days I guess.

This happened sometimes when you quit any kind of habit which is very usual for you.i think that will last longer with you.
