Ok I have been getting these horrible depression symptoms to the point that I sink myself into a black hole and cant get out. I feel so low I dont know what to do with myself and all I do is cry and feel really worthless.
A couple of days later I am my normal cheery self, this has been going on for this year now and its a week before my menses start and then a couple of days before it starts.
My doctor has put me on the pill called levlon to try and control these symptoms plus the really bad period pain Ive been experiencing.

However I have noticed some weird spotting and plus my anxiety is bad, I had a panic attack last week and I dont know if its because of the pill or not.

Has anyone been in the same boat as me? or know what it could be?

    Did your doctor mention PMDD?

My PMS always seemed much worse when I was on hormonal birth control. But everyone is different, perhaps it will regulate yours. It takes the body a few months to adjust to hormonal birth control. And some people never truly adjust to it. Spotting in the first few months is totally normal. Are you someone that suffered from panic attacks prior to the pill? It may be that he needs to put you on a different pill, one maybe more suited for PMDD sufferers.

I didnt think of that. I just feel irritated by things sometimes and I panic over something that probably doesnt really need to be panicked over.
No i didnt really suffer panic attacks beforehand. I feel like I am still getting bits of my PMS symptoms all over the place plus I get random period pains which is another reason why I started the pill to reduce the pain because it was getting really bad.

I dont have my menses not even due for it and I just get bits of PMS and period pain randomly whenever no set time or order if you know what I mean.

I might go back to my GP after I have my first period because i want to see if the pain is reduced first. But yeah that is what I was on the pill for so I didnt have to call in sick just because of my PMS and being so depressed I couldnt get out of bed and all I wanted to do was cry, it was awful feeling like that and it was doing my head in. My GP she didnt mention PMDD to me.
