    Default Frequent bad dreams

Hi everyone. About a year ago, I started having bad dreams quite often. When it started, I had nightmares practically every night for a month to the point where I was scared to fall asleep because I knew what was coming. As time went on, they have gotten less frequent but still occur at least half of the times that I dream. They are always about ghosts, dead people, people dying - often myself or my family, animals attacking me, etc. Any reasons why this could be happening to me?

Hello Ives, I'm sorry to read this I'm no expert but I've heard that your dreams are a part of your sub conscious. You have a fear of death, or the ones close to you dying. Tell me did something happen or almost happen to you or a Family member about a year ago that you think would be a trigger?

Thank you for taking time to reply! I've had a few members of my extended family pass away in the last couple of years but none that I was very close with to be honest. I've been under a lot of stress this past year though for other reasons such as my relationship, school, financial reasons...perhaps that has something to do with it

I believe that dreams do have meanings.

And you can google them too.

Dreaming about death which seems to be the main factor in your dreams, represents the ending of an old phase so that a new one can begin.

I've googled somethings here but, it won't let me copy and paste for you.

But, it does also say that dreaming of animals in your dreams of death can represent that you are rejecting or repressing your instinctive side.
Dreaming of people who have passed is also a way of grieving, maybe you didn't see yourself as close to them, but it's kind of like you are sub-consciously grieving for them.

It does not actually mean death, more the birth of something new. Also here it says that the most common people that have dreams about death are those who have a fear of dying, and those who are trying to free themselves from something, even emotional burdens so that there can be a new re-birth of you.

Don't worry, the dreams may seem scary, but they mean good things
