I live in Chile, so it's summer here. I went bikini shopping, only to come back empty handed. Why? Apparently bikini manufacturers think that women are all perfectly proportioned hourglasses. I'm a definite pear shape. Depending on the model, I usually wear an M for tops and XL for bottoms. Sadly, at least in my country separates are usually the ugliest, poorest quality swimsuits. The prettiest, best quality ones are not sold separately. This leaves me with less choices, and feeling deformed. Same thing happens with dresses, usually they're too small in the bottom, and if I buy a larger one, it's too big on top. I feel really ugly, and that I look fatter than I am.

I am of normal weight... not that thin, but definitely not fat! As a matter of fact, my tummy is almost flat, but all the fat is in my hips, butt and thighs. I hate it, it's so stubborn, and I have so much cellulite. I feel unattractive, especially because in my country, having a big butt is good, but without cellulite... hip size is irrelevant... and boobs must be BIG. That's what men consider attractive. I have none of it.

I feel really down... I feel unattractive, deformed... and my hair is thin, which I hate and as a matter of fact I fear it's thinning... and my face is just so plain. It doesn't help that my best friend has big boobs, a big butt and green eyes (which are rare around here) so she always gets attention... most recently from the guy I was interested in.

All this has got me so depressed... especially because in the news everyday they show the "hottest beaches of the country" segments, and all they focus on is showing women and their body parts... and of course they're all hot women only... not even hot women and men... just hot women, as if only men watched the news...

I feel terrible and don't know how to cope, I swear today after I got home I cried for a good half hour because I just can't take this anymore... I suspect that even if I drop all the weight I can drop, I'll still be deformed...

Listen... YOU ARE NOT DEFORMED...YOU ARE NOT UGLY!!! I bet you have a rockin body!! Chile has it all wrong girl! Did you ever try shopping online? You can find hundreds of swim suits online and for decent prices that would fit perfectly for your body. I am going to Mexico in a couple months and I have been shopping online for swim suits for a while now. As far as cellulite goes, drinking water may help, but being tan helps too. I don't know how dark your skin is, but using a sunless tanner can help reduce the image of cellulite (don't fake bake in a tanning bed, you don't want skin cancer or wrinkles!). All women have it, so don't be ashamed. And if a guy isn't going to date you because of something so minor, you don't need him anyway!

Hunny, there is always going to be someone "hotter", but what it really comes down to is being happy with yourself and comfortable in your own skin. Everyone will always have someone who is "hotter" than themselves...and those are just opinions. No matter how good I look, I will always find someone that I think "Gosh, I wish I could just look like that!" I have accepted though that everyone is different for a reason. If we all looked the same, how boring would that be? We would never attact a guy because he'd be so bored with seeing the same thing over and over lol. Having the confidence and self assurance that you know you're hot is sexy and alluring to men. Being yourself is what is really going to get a great guy.

And just to add something else... I can bet there are girls out there that look at you and go "Ugh, I wish my stomach was that flat!" or "I wish I had a nice luscious booty like her!" My opinion...people want what they can't have. Blondes want to be bruenette, brunettes want to be blonde, straight hair wants curly, curly wants straight. Its about accepting what you have and WORKING WHAT YOUR MAMA GAVE YA!

Sometimes we have unique bodies that force us to look for or pay more for what our body needs to look great and more importantly, feel great.

I am 5' and have yet to find jeans that are great for my butt, but have a short enough inseam. My solution is a seamstress. I have to pay a bit more for hemming or fitting pants and shirts but I look and feel great. It's worth it.

    For swimsuits, go online.
I rarely have luck finding a size small in store that is small enough not to sag, but big enough so all my girly bits are covered.
Victoria Secret has had some great suits, as does Venus.com.
I am impelled, not to squeak like a grateful and apologetic mouse, but to roar like a lion out of pride in my profession.

There ia also an online site called SwimOutlet, You can find it on your Search Engine.

Triangle ( Or some call Pear )

For women with more prominent hips, thighs, and rear, less prominent shoulders and bust, and average to large legs, swim dresses and skirtinis can be a great way to provide balance to the figure. Look for swimsuits that use a print or light colored top and a solid, dark bottom. Or try something with an embellished bustline to draw the eye up toward your face and shoulders.

Women with fuller thighs should look for dresses, skirts, and shorts that flatter the figure, and other slimming designs include one pieces or swim dresses with princess seams and empire waistlines.

On the Buying a larger Dress to fit the Hips, Try Skirt sets or even a flowy type dress and use a sash or belt to separate the lower from the upper. And as said, you may need a Seamstress to tuck in or let out areas so they fit correctly..

Or better yet.. Take up sewing and make your own clothes. When you look at the Material it takes to make a Bikini ? Usually less than a Yard for a style like this .

    Or This

Depending on Material you chose, the cost isn't going to be the " $50-$75 for a suit. The two showed above can be purchased Separately, but the cost shocked me $50 for the Top and $64 for the Bottom ???

Plus the fact you can make One of a Kind.. Ones Noone else will have, you won't be one of a thousand gals in an Off the Rack Swim Suit.

You can get patterns from McCalls or another Online site or any Sewing/ Fabric store,Some Fabric stores give free classes, because they want you coming back for more Fabric's.
Also, I'm sure you can find a second hand Sewing Machine, somewhere. You might end up having allot of Fun, even learning to Design your own clothes that others may want to purchase from you .

    On the Thinning Hair ?
Try a new style, maybe a layered look, a Bit shorter . Wash and Blow dry with a Volume adding type Gel .

Before exploring natural ways in how to cure cellulite on thigh, let us first understand its causes and symptoms. It is characterized by dimpling on skin when you pinch the skin on your upper thigh. The appearance of these bumps is quite similar to that of cottage cheese.

More often than not, cellulite deposits on the thighs, stomach and buttocks. It is common in women, postnatal women, in particular.

Basically, cellulite develops in the fatty tissue close to the skin when small lumps of fat get in the holes of connective tissue, thereby forming unsightly lumps. It is observed slim as well as overweight individuals.

It is believed to be caused by high level of estrogen and poor elasticity of skin. Genetic predisposition, hormonal factors, poor eating habits, poor blood circulation, sedentary lifestyle, lack of exercise, ageing, smoking, water retention, toxin build-up, chemical preservatives, stress, and numerous other factors contribute in causing cellulite.

How to Get Rid of Cellulite on Thighs with Home Remedies. ( As I don't believe in the Magic Cream or Pill ).

    • Improve your diet by limiting the intake of processed, refined foods and including more fruits, vegetables and whole grains.

Avoid foods rich in starch and carbohydrates. In fact, do not eat concentrated proteins and carbohydrates together in the same meal. For instance, do not combine your pasta with chicken or fish.

    • Switch to brown bread instead of white bread. In addition, go for low-fat milk and dairy products. Avoid crash diets, though.

    • Having raw foods such as parsley, cabbage, tomato, asparagus, and citrus fruits containing bioflavanoids help in the natural treatment to get rid of cellulite on thighs and butts.

While preparing salads, use less oil and more vinegar or lemon juice in the dressing. For example, you can use a combination of balsamic vinegar and olive oil. In case you are using mayonnaise, replace it with plain low-fat yogurt, mixed with chives or Dijon mustard.

    • Including essential fatty acids in your diet is useful in curing these ugly “cottage cheese” or “orange peel” like bumps. So, take pure vegetable oils like soybean, flaxseed, safflower, sunflower, wheat germ, and so on.

    • In terms of spices, go for those with antioxidants that help in healing this problem. For instance, opt for black pepper, cayenne pepper, juniper berries, ginger and garlic.

    • Limit your salt intake as it causes unnecessary water retention which, in turn causes cellulite. Avoid saturated fats as well.

    • Nevertheless, drink more water. Plus, reduce the consumption of tea, coffee and alcohol as these beverages have a dehydrating effect on body. Instead, opt for herbal teas and decaffeinated beverages.

    • Detoxification helps in flushing out toxins and reducing fat, thereby reducing cellulite.

    • Soy lecithin, gingko biloba and certain other supplements containing amino acids and antioxidants are useful in controlling cellulite. Glucosamine supplements, though meant for arthritis, have also been found to prevent and cure cellulite.

    • Prepare a natural remedy by mixing equal quantities of warm coffee grinds (caffeine removes water in cells and stimulates circulation) and Epsom salt along with sufficient water to form a paste.

Smear this on your thighs as a body wrap and cover it with plastic wrap. Leave it on your body for about half an hour. Follow this therapy two to three times in a week.

    • Another inexpensive trick for reducing cellulite on your thighs is to brush your skin before taking a bath to stimulate circulation and lymph flow.

    • Regularly take two teaspoons of apple cider vinegar mixed in a glass of water. Drink this solution every morning. You can also massage a mixture of three parts apple cider vinegar and one part almond oil or any other massage oil. Follow this treatment two times in a day.

    • Massaging with a cellulite gel (preferably herbal) helps in getting rid of cellulite on thighs to improve blood circulation. You can also massage with a mixture of one tablespoon coffee grounds in almond or any vegetable oil.

Shower with warm water after about 30 minutes. Besides, you can add coffee grounds in your lotion before applying it on thighs. Most anti-cellulite creams contain caffeine.

    • Grapefruit, juniper, cedar wood and rosemary essential oils when used through aromatherapy prove beneficial in removing cellulite on thighs. To follow this treatment, add two cups of sea salt and about eight drops of any of these oils in a tub full of warm water and relax in it for about 15-20 minutes.

    • Exercise regularly for at least half an hour in a day. Consider doing yoga to lose weight and tone your muscles. Besides, try running, cycling, skipping and treadmill exercises. Breathing exercises are also valuable in fighting cellulite as it removes toxins and waste materials.

The most effective tip on how to get rid of cellulite on thighs is to combine aerobic exercises with strength training. You can also try spa treatments but they are not permanent. In fact, till now, there is no proper cure for cellulite.

Remember these are Suggested Treatments, There is actually No Cure !! Though you can help Prevent it and even retard it, postpone it, by eating healthier. Just as you can many other things that effect your Body and Mind.

It is a Natural occurring thing, you just need to learn to make it less prominent !

And Learn to Love Yourself, that way you show Confidence , when that " Guy" turns his Head and thinks . " WOW " ! " I want to know her better " !!!
