hi little! i just want to say that you wouldn't have a wonderfull beautifull little girl if you weren't a great person yourself!!! YOU, her MOM has a huge part in that, and for that, you should be very proud of yourself!!!! OHHHHH>>>> after reading your post I wish i could just fly to see you and tell you in person that you shouldn't feel this way! lol...
I've made some very bad choices the past year and a half...i've gotten my head back on straight the last 8 months...but let me tell ya....there are times at work when certain people won't let me forget the mistakes i've made...and i've always been a very sensetive person...i take EVERYTHING to heart....and sometimes i end up NOT liking what i see in the mirror because of the wrong turns i took...BUT...it's only a year and ahalf out of my 34 years...and i too have two wonderfull well behaved HAPPY smart kids...and to me, that reasures me that i am good at heart...a few bad decisions didn't make me a bad person....

as far as looks go...(hard to tell from your posts if it's just looks??? or if you have other issues??)....i slumped for years during middle school and the beginning of high school..my dad would always get after me...(stand up straight! don't slouch! lol)....the back brace thing someone suggested might be good...but seriously...even after all these years...with practise you CAN do it...

now...about exercise...weather you want to lose weight or not...it is SUCH a mood lifter...even just getting out for a walk...a 20+ min. brisk walk 4+ times a week will help tremendously! being active does all sorts of wonderfull things for the chemicals in your brain...for stress and anxiety or depression....seriously....

YOU take care of YOU...(and continue to take care of your girlie...of course)...

community service makes anyone feel good too....like adopting a grandparent at a nursing home...visiting them once a week....that makes a HUGE difference in their lives and in YOURS....

good luck to you! I will have you in my prayers! if you want my email...just let me know! i just feel for you, and don't want ANYONE feeling this way....

Smile reply to little girl lost

Hi there Do you know I thought I had written your letter A lot of things have happened to me through my life and they have so my doc says all caught up with me I know where you are coming from .I went to see a doc over a problem and he was sooo humiliating towards me he has made me worse I too hate myself and my appearance My self confidence has gone completely,I dont see the point in looking good or anything like that . I DO NOTagree with housewife. Before you can do these things you have to have the self confidence and take that first step, and thats not easy.Thats like saying pull yourself together its not as easy as that.I do understand you and i am sure you and i will eventually find ourselves again I am taking one small step at a time good luck

Getting moving is the hard part, but I think exercise would definitely be beneficial. I just love those endorphins.

I've been where you are now. With the help of a therapist who allowed me to safely look at why I was in the state I was in and falling in love with a mountain bike, I came around and climbed up out of the whole I had dug myself into.

I started taking care of myself by taking time for myself. It's hard to take care of a child when you aren't taking care of yourself. I gave up looking for a guy. Figured I didn't need the extra burden. I found myself through mnt biking (there may be something different for you). I found self-esteem and I found the 'I can do it if I want to' attitude. With this, came self confidence.

I guess I just wanted to say, that maybe having someone to talk out these feelings with in a safe place might be a good idea. I also used to love the walks after dinner with my young son who would point out different things of interest to him. I started to see the world with different eyes. Hang in there.
