New Features Are Here!!!

Hello everyone! I have been working on both Womens-Health and Mens-Health all day and night and am pretty tired so I just wanted to put a quick message out there for anyone online tonight.

I have upgraded both sites to include the following:

Blogs
Photo Albums
Profile Customization
And some others

Take a look at the main forum menu and you will see the blog link. Check it out. Also, check out the "User CP" link for more options.

I will provide a more detailed overview of the new features and instructions on their use tomorrow.

New site features are here!!!

We had some delays, but the forum upgrades are finally here! I am really excited about them and hope that you are too! Here is an overview of the new features. More information on how to use these new features will soon be posted in our FAQ section - http://www.womens-health.com/boards/...3_user_profile . For more information on specific features, use the corresponding links below.

•Blogging - Now you can post your own blogs from your own profile. You will have more options to edit/manage what you write, including allowing/dissallowing user comments.

•User Picture Galleries - Now members can create albums and upload/manage photos within their profile.

vBulletin Community Forum - View Single Post - vBulletin 3.7 First Look!

•New Member Profiles - Our member profiles now have a different look featuring friend display, recent visitors, comments, contacts, and more.

vBulletin Community Forum - View Single Post - vBulletin 3.7 First Look!

•Customize Your Profile - You can now customize the look of your profile by changing colors, fonts, and background images.

vBulletin Community Forum - View Single Post - vBulletin 3.7 First Look!

•Reciprocal Friendships - Send and receive friend requests to create your own network.

•Public Messaging/Comments - Users can now post comments on other member's profiles.

Some of these features are only accessable for members who have been promoted from "Regular Member" status. This is to help prevent spam and weed out those with bad intentions. If you see anyone abusing these features, please let us know.

Jessica: Does this mean that once the blog is up that I can go into it and edit and add or is this just a one time deal.....Very often I have to see it in front of me to get more ideas and can really roll it out.... but if I can't, I can't...This is called weirdness of old age....

Can we edit our posts???

I went to FAQ and it said you the edit button. So has it been removed?

The edit function has been turned off because it was abused by some of the users. Make sure that what you have written is what you want to say, because it WILL stay on the boards.

No Livelaughlove, you can't edit your posts, but there is a previous post button down the bottom before you submit reply so you can check first what you have written before you submit reply and post...

The other thing often found is you forget something and re-post, which means we have to Merge your posts for points purposes, as the membership increases from VIP to Silver etc.. Try to avoid this as well by waiting until someone replies after you then re-post or again check the Previous Post first so your not missing anything you wanted to include.

I more quick question is there a place where i can find what words are not acceptable here.

I mean editing of this sight is very strange such as the word B.i.z.a.r.r.e.

Why is that word not accepted?

A little bit confused?

Btw. I read our forum rules. More specifically "Inappropriate Language/Content"
