Post 3 yr. old attached............

This is my story I have a 3 yr. old boy and he has really attached to me for quite some time. He is the only child I have for right now. We go to church and they have classrooms its hard for him to play with other kids. How can he go with other children without looking for me and starting to cry? Can someone give me some tips so I won't feel so frustrated and lost?

My boyfriend cried and wouldn't go to children's church when he was a kid He's still a momma's boy but not to a bad point; he just loves his mother.
I think she just encouraged him to be independent. I'm not completely sure how she did it; I just wanted to share that he's turned out normal.

I was also a very shy, attached, timid child. My mom just took it slow with me I think. I turned out ok. I'm 25 now and am able to go my own way. I moved to a different country thousands of miles away from my family. I wouldn't advise forcing him to separate from you. Three is still pretty young and you don't want to traumatise him.
