Congrats!

I am a mom to a beautiful 10 month old girl. I read alot of books and articles to educate myself on taking care of babies. Babycenter is a great website, i still go there to follow my babys development. A great book to start with is "What To Expect During The First Year" i think its called that. Just read , read and read!

Usually when you go to your prenatal visits they give you articles on taking care of your newborn and such. Talk to other mothers on there experience with there babies, you will learn alot.

If you have any particular questions feel free to ask!

Default New mom

Con grats I have a 8 yr old boy and a 2 yr old girl and boy what a difference Boys are so easy. Girls are basically a mini you think about it all those emotions bottled up into a tiny body and thats what you have so hold on and be prepared. On the plus side they want dresses hair bows and baby dolls galore. I hope you are considering Breast feeding I did it with both of mine and it was so wonderful the bond you share there is nothing like it plus the health benefits (and if your like me my kids sleep with me and all you have to do is pop it in). Slings are a must if you do a web search you can find some good ones. again they make bonding second nature. other then that let her be let her go and let her grow listen to older people they know. Simple is sometimes the best and follow what you feel is right. GOOD LUCK
