Default my daughter and the toilet

hello, i have a question. everytime my daughter goes to the bathroom in her diaper she squats down on the floor and tries to go. it looks like she is going to the bathroom on a toilet. i was wondering if maybe she is ready for the toilet or not. if she squats like that maybe she will feel better on a toilet. oh and my daughter is only 18 months old. could she be ready? she also likes to take her diaper off alot.

It's POTTY TIME!!!!! At 18 months old we started playing around with the potty with my daughter. (She's 20 months now and still not potty trained, but no biggie.) Try getting her to go first thing in the morning and after naps. That's a good start. So far it's the only time my daughter will go. Run the water if needed.

Good luck to you and your princess!

She is letting you know that she is consciously aware that she needs to relieve herself. So like everyone is saying, start potty training but don't be discouraged if it takes awhile.

Wow, lucky you. My son is 3 and just decided to start using the toilet. We got him a potty in the past and even tried elaborate stools and one of those seats. But he didn't want to use any of those ... I guess he was waiting until he was tall enough to reach the toilet like everyone else, lol.
