Well Guess what I have been dealing with for the last 4 hours?

OMG!!! Sooooo gross!!!!!!
I would rather deal with 2 children vomiting at all hours of the night than go thru this!

Thankfully I've been spared that one. Although when my daughter was in second grade she had really long (hip length) really curly (looked about shoulder length) hair. The school had a lice scare and did a check on every kid. They contacted me and said she had them. I could find no sign, took her to the doc - she found no sign. So I contacted the school. Their response? "She has so much hair we couldn't tell"!

This is my first time... Neither DH or I ever had it. Now I'm totally paranoid and want to wash, vacuum and bleach my whole house. Not that it couldn't use it bu geesh....

"apparently" Head lice like clean hair....my one friend had it for so long that not even the stuff the doc gave her worked so she washed her hair in mud and TA DA! no more lice.

Whoever said anything was possible obviously never tried slamming a revolving door.
Apparently they get immune to the over the counter stuff so I'm switching to tea tree oil and shampoo. Looks like the lice hate it!
Well she was free of crawlies this AM. DS is clean too as well as DH and myself. We are giving the washer and dryer good work outs. My bathroom smells like the public pool and we have vacuumed and swept till we dropped...
I told DH if DS got it I was shaving him. Also told DH he would be getting a cut too. They both like longer hair so this may be a challenge. Keep your fingers crossed for me!
