I'd say same amount of time as store-bought milk...

I donno, store milk has been pasteurized and sealed up and quick-cooled to 41'F before shipping. Bacterial load would be expected to be much lower starting out than breast milk. Shelf life on store bought can be up to 3 weeks if unopened.

I'd guess at a safer shelf life of no more than you would keep a pot of soup or other leftover foods. That's pretty long if you keep your frig at 41'F - 7 days. I think the sooner used the better and would likely go for 3 to 4 days max. Maybe less.

ok, should have researched b4 posting... LaLeche League says store human milk ideally no more than 72 hours, tho can max out at 8 days if necessary. This is refrigerated storage at 41 to 45'F

Hey sweets. It's been a while but I think I remember. For the refrigerator it is three days.....any leftover bottles that the baby has fed from can be refrigerated but disposed of the same day. You can freeze it for, I believe two months and if you have a deep freezer, six months. Always run it under hot water in the sink to thaw out. DO NOT place it on the stove....it does something to the milk but I forgot what. I think something about losing the nutrients. After unthawing you will notice that the fat has separated from the milk, just shake it up and it will go back to normal. Hope I have helped.
