My son (6 years old) has pretty severe asthma. He's been to the emergency room a few times and we now have a nebulizer and inhaler at home. His asthma seems to be triggered primarily by colds. Pretty much 100% of the time that he gets a cold the dreaded "cough" starts soon thereafter. He is like 10 for 10 with colds and asthma.
We're really frustrated (and nervous) for his severe asthma attacks. He is too young and we are desperately looking for an alternate natural cure. Thanks in advance for any ideas.

    Default have you tried?

This is just something that could help. Have you considered that the cleaners you use could trigger your sons atshma? I have researched this and found that there are studies out there that say that our household chemicals cause allergies, atshma, and linked to cancer as well. This is just a thought. But i switched to cleaners that are all nature. No toxic chemicals in them. I did this cause i kept getting headaches. This might help your son. Just a thought. if you want more info, just let me know. i would be more then willing to help you out.

    Default A Natural Help

Many years ago, a woman told me that her grandchild suffered from asthma attacks.

She went to a health food store and she purchased some cherry tree bark tea.
She said it's "bitter", but it really helps asthma sufferers.
She boils it and adds honey to it.

Check with your local health food store and see what they say about it.

Hi. If your child has asthma, do you vacume and dust frequently? Vacume the mattress he/she sleeps on every week when you change bedding? My granddaughter was sick with colds and asthma all the time until they moved in with us and I started vacuming everything. Now she is never sick!
