Hi everyone! So I have an amazing little boy named Aidan, who is now 4 1/2 years old. Aidan was born with a rare kidney disease, and so I have spent my time at home raising him. He's such a fantastic little man, and has been doing really well health-wise, and is very very intelligent for his age. But lately we've been having so major issues with tantrums again and power struggles. It seems like a constant struggle to get him to do the simple things he's asked, and he has a tendency to over react over little things... most of the time he's a very happy boy, but i feel as though maybe I'm raising a 'spoiled' or 'bratty' child. I've tried incentives or rewards, time outs for not listening, taking toys or privileges away for bad behavior or not listening... and nothing seems to work for very long. Any suggestions for how we could have a better daily schedule so the house could run a bit more smoothly? Or some ideas on what to do about the 'bad' behaviors? Thanks so much!!!
