Help on miscarriage

hi moms,
a few days ago the most horrible thing that could ever happen to any woman happen to me. I lost my baby due to a miscarriage... well im going to get a tattoo with a ribbon/heart, my babies name, date i found out i was pregnant & a quote/poem can anyone please help me word this differently ad/remove a few words from this....
(it cant be too long)

I fell in love with you
when you were forming in my womb
Though my body can no longer hold you
I hold you forever in my heart
now i carry you in my heart instead of my arms

First of all, so sorry that you are going through this. It isn't easy. Where are you placing this tattoo? Will it be visible to others or just for you? I think the sentiment expressed in your words is very meaningful to you, but that to have it all translate into a meaningful tattoo may be a bit much. I like the ribbon/heart, baby's name and date, but the poem (to me) should just simply read -- Loved, forever in my heart.

Psalms 139: 13 - For you formed my inward parts; you knitted me together in my mother's womb. I praise you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. (I love this one because it says that we are all formed by the hands of God...perfectfully...wonderfully no matter how short or long our life.)

There are so many options. You've just to look until something jumps out at you and gives you that "that's perfect" feeling. I like what you posted too. But I might shorten it into something like "I carry you in my heart...." Short, sweet, and so very meaningful.

With all that said...so sorry you're going through this. I know what a heartbreaking time it must be. I like that you are focusing your grief in a way that pays tribute to your little blessing. Hang in there.

Jenni, this is so heartbreaking. Thank you for sharing your wonderful idea for the tattoo with us. I think the most powerful line is this one: "Now I carry you in my heart". It almost made me shed tears. If I had to pick only one line, it would be that one. I think it gets the idea across very powerfully. I'm so sorry for your loss.
